Several companies in China are now commercializing graphene heating elements embedded in wearables and other devices. Many of these devices are available now, shipping globally through retailers such as Amazon.

Graphene is an excellent conductor of heat, and its use in heating devices is somewhat surprising. The makers of these devices explain that graphene is strong, thin and flexible, provides "pure far-infrared radiation" and is also safer and more environmentally friendly than other alternatives. Whether this is really an open question.

An example of such a product is the BriGenius Graphene Heating Pad, a small heating pad for neck and shoulder cramps and back pain relief. The 12x15-inch pad is $54.99, while the larger 12x24-inch pad is $64.99.

BriGenius also offers a motorized graphene eye mask that can help relieve dry eyes, stress, eye strain and discomfort, blepharitis or just for relaxation. The eye mask is $39.99. Moxi offers a similar graphene eye mask for $78.99.
